Français 4ème ESO

Hi! We're the students of French in 4th ESO and we're going to explain to all of you our eTwinning project, an international project where you can communicate to other people.

We are in a project called “Espace de rencontres” (Meeting point) with some students of a high school of tourism called ISIS “Gian Domenico Romagnosi” in Erba, Italy. We send each other presentations, photos and articles about ourselves, our region and country...

We are enjoying the project a lot and we encourage you to read our presentations in French even if you aren't learning this beautiful language, it isn't so difficult and maybe you will start learning it.

Salut! Nous sommes les élèves de français de quatrième ESO et nous allons expliquer notre projet eTwinning à vous tous. eTwinning est un projet internationale où tu peux communiquer avec d'autres personnes.

Nous sommes dans un projet appelé «Espace de rencontres» avec des élèves d'un lycée de tourisme appelé ISIS “Gian Domenico Romagnosi” à Erba, en Italie. Nous nous envoyons des présentations, des photos et des articles sur nous mêmes, notre région et pays...

Nous jouissons du projet et nous vous encourageons à lire nos présentations en français même si vous n'apprenez pas cette jolie langue, elle n'est pas si difficile et peut être vous allez commencer à l'apprendre. 

Science in English 2 ESO: WOODLAND FOOD WEBS

Natural Science students have been working on ecosystems. From an internet resource, they have created woodland food webs. Here we have three examples of their tasks.

This documentary talks about the high levels of contamination which the Earth endures. The high levels of pollution have an impact on the wonderful scenery in the world. Glaciers are melting, human resources dwindle and they are mistreated.  Unless we find a solution quickly, the sea level will rise rapidly, human resources will disappear, many animals will die more easily and the world will end.

Yann Arthus Bertrand was born in March 1946 in Paris. He is a French photographer, a journalist, a reporter and an environmentalist. He became a director assistant when he was 17. In 1963 he became an actor in movies. He gave up the movie industry in 1967 to run the Château de Saint Agustin wildlife park in the centre of France.

If everyone lived like me, we would need 1.5 earths to cover everyone's needs.  We suggest:

- go by bike

- go by public transport

- not cut down on trees

- not burn forests

- use renewable energy

Maths: What size are we?

Christmas Concert

 CHRISTMAS CONCERT

Last 20th December the students of 1st ESO went early in the morning to the home of "Ampans" in Súria.This a place that looks after mental disabled people.

We sang Carols, three songs were in English: "What Child is This?", "Good King Wenceslas" and "O Christmas Tree", five songs in Catalan: "Fum, Fum, Fum", "El rabadà", "Ha nascut el Déu Infant", "Aclarida nit de Nadal" and "Som al dia de Nadal",  and three songs playing the flute. 

The people of Ampans sang with us in two Carols: "El rabadà" and "Fum, fum, fum".
We enjoyed a lot and made the people of Ampans laugh. We arrived at school at one o'clock very pleased and tired.
